Located on the southeast corner of George Perry and Barr, the Old Main Academic Center is a dynamic classroom building that will enhance the MSU experience and strengthen excellence in academics with a multitude of teaching and learning areas. Its design is reminiscent of MSU's legendary Old Main Dormitory, believed to be the largest dormitory in the United States until its destruction by fire in 1959.

OMAC's design recalls Old Main Dormitory, believed to be the United States' largest dormitory in its time. It stands just north of the historic core of MSU, on the corner of George Perry Street and Barr Avenue, next to the Chapel of Memories.
