Course Reserves
Course Reserves are supplemental class materials reserved by instructors for student use outside the classroom. You must be an active MSU student, staff, or faculty member to access course reserves.
Print/Traditional Reserves
- Print and traditional course reserves include books, objects, sample student projects, movies, or CDs. The course reserves are located at the service desk and are available during Bob and Kathy Luke Architecture, Art and Design Library hours.
- Items may be placed on Closed Reserve (may be checked out for 2 hours and used in the library only), 2-Day Reserve, or 24-Hour Reserve.
- When you have identified the item you need, bring the item's title or call number to the service desk to check it out.

All course reserves documents are protected under the Copyright Law of the United States (Title 17 U.S. Code) governing the making of photocopies of copyrighted materials.
Course Reserves staff will manage all needed copyright clearance.

We remove all copyrighted Course Reserves materials at the end of each semester. We will assist you with reserving copyrighted materials by either gaining permission from copyright holders or paying the copyright fees associated with the materials.
