The Reveille has chronicled the lives of Mississippi State University students throughout the institution's history. It was first published in 1898, when the University was called the Mississippi Agricultural and Mechanical College, and then from 1906 to 2008, with two wartime exceptions. In 1913 the Reveille was temporarily renamed Private 1913; in 1944 the Reveille was not produced, due to the paper restrictions brought on by World War II.

This project was completed through a partnership with the Lyrasis Mass Digitization Collaborative and a subsidy grant from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.

Issues of The Pegasus, the yearbook of the College of Veterinary Medicine, are also available.
