DelPrince, James M.
Publisher: American Institute of Floral Designers
2005
ISBN: 0976800500
Collaborators: American Institute of Floral Designers (14 contributing authors)

Through its Education Committee, AIFD drew together members from across North America and Europe who have special expertise in floral industry education. Additionally, other experts in floriculture were enlisted, representing numerous recognized educational resources and, after much research and discussion, writing and rewriting, this book was completed. Several years ago, a basic and condensed volume, The AIFD Book of Floral Terminology, appeared as an in-house publication. The AIFD Guide to Floral Design: Terms, Techniques, and Traditions is greatly enhanced and much expanded version of that first book, and written to be shared with professionals and non-professionals alike.
The AIFD, whose members have authored the book, have worked diligently over a considerable number of years to produce this labor of love because of their belief in the project from its inception. The committee has been dedicated to providing a comprehensive book of value and significance for all those who care about flowers and design.
