Genome organization of catfish and its bacterial pathogens are pivotal in understanding the host-pathogen interactions. Currently, I am conducting research to determine resistance genes of Edwardsiella ictaluri against catfish neutrophils. I have active research in incorporating living colors in monitoring ESC disease in live catfish. In addition, I am involved in whole genome sequencing and annotation of Flavobacterium columare.
