Dear Exhibitor,
The Mississippi Library Association will be hosting its annual conference October 18-21, 2011, at the Marriott Jackson in Jackson, Mississippi. We are inviting YOU to join us in celebrating the diversity of the Mississippi Library Association. We are providing several ways to participate this special year. Exhibiting your products, sponsoring a speaker, sponsoring a special memento, or making a monetary contribution are just some of the ways to help us celebrate the unique role that librarians play in the state of Mississippi. Planning has begun, speakers are being secured, and we want you to be a part of the celebration. This years’ theme, "Partnerships & Collaboration: The building blocks for successful libraries", will focus on how all types of libraries can partner and collaborate with each other and their communities which they serve. Any special library services or programs your company can brag about would enhance our theme.
Our association continues to work to make our conferences more relevant and enjoyable for the hundreds of Mississippi librarians who attend and also for our valued exhibitors. We hope you will appreciate the changes that have been made in response to your comments.
- “No conflict time” during the grand opening of the exhibits
- To promote more traffic, various events will be held in the exhibit hall
- Set up time is Wednesday, October 19 from 8:00 - 10:45 a.m.
- 10’ x 6’ exhibit booths, managed by Convention Display Services, Jackson, Mississippi
- Lunch break (exhibits closed) on Thursday
- A spacious exhibit hall and loading dock to aid in unloading and setting up your exhibit space.
The exhibit hall will be open on Wednesday from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Each space will contain a 10' x 6' draped booth with a 10' fabric backdrop; 3' dividers; name identification sign; one 6’ draped table and two chairs. You will receive more specific information in a sponsor packet approximately six weeks prior to the conference.
Your CONTRACT FOR EXHIBIT SPACE is enclosed. Please complete the enclosed contract and return it with a check, payable to MLA Exhibits, for the total amount. VISA and MasterCard are also accepted. Reservations for space will be made only when payment is received.
