The library catalog and most databases allow you to specify the type of material that you are interested in. Some of the more common ways to limit a search are by language, date of publication, and type of material. The two images below show the limiters available for the library catalog and the database Academic Search Premier. We will be looking more at the catalog in Module 3 and Academic Search Premier in Module 4.
