The Instructional Media Center offers a number of services from printing and laminating to assistance with a large expanse of the latest software. We have staff and lab assistants available for your convenience to help you with problems and/or questions.
One-On-One Support
If you need intensive, individualized assistance on any of the software packages we offer in our multimedia lab, such as Adobe Premiere, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, or video and audio capture, you may set up a one-on-one training session by calling 325-7676. We can also show you how to scan a document correctly, how to save your work to storage devices like a jump drive, how to burn a CD/DVD or FTP to remote storage sites, and how to upload Web pages. Quick questions may be answered at any time, but if you require intensive assistance we need to book a session in advance.
Printing
Print to our new color laser printers. Prices vary depending on the size and type of paper:
8 ½ x 11 regular paper = $.50
8 ½ x 11 cardstock = $.75
11 x 17 regular paper = $1.00
11 x 17 cardstock = $1.50
Transparency (8 ½ x 11) = $1.25
Laminating
The IMC offers laminating for .50 cents a foot.
Library Audio Tours
A great way to familiarize yourself with the location and availability of information is to take the library audio cassette tour. These tours are available for check-out at the Instructional Media Center front desk.
