The Instructional Media Center goes far beyond computer workstations; we offer rooms which faculty, staff and students of Mississippi State University can reserve and use for many purposes. Electronic Classrooms
ELI and Giles are the two electronic classrooms that faculty can reserve to hold lectures and class meetings. Each classroom has 15 computer workstations. If you have a larger class, the two rooms can be combined to accommodate up to 30 students. The Giles classroom is equipped with a state-of-the-art lectern that houses an ELMO projector, VCR, computer, wireless keyboard and mouse etc.
Auditorium
The Auditorium is equipped with a surround sound audio system, which includes a DVD, VHS VCR, cassette and CD player, a cordless microphone system and a teacher station, which includes a high speed networked computer with a ceiling mounted projection unit. This room comfortably seats 90 individuals.
Presentation Room
The Presentation Room is available for University faculty, students, courses, workshops, and seminars. It includes a teacher station equipped with a networked computer and a projection unit. The room is also equipped with video and DVD capability. The presentation room can seat up to 40 individuals.
