Government Documents

About the Department

The Government Documents Area contains selected items from the depository programs of the United States Federal Government and the United Nations. Materials include books, periodicals, indexes, reports, pamphlets, maps, etc. and may be in paper, microform, electronic or other formats. Some of the most popular items include census records, tax forms, USGS topographic maps, and the Congressional Record. Most documents can be checked out through the Access Services Department. Materials which cannot be checked out include the census records, the Congressional Record, the Serial Set, and documents on microfiche. Instructional sessions may be scheduled by calling (662) 325-7660.
