About MSU Libraries

Giving to the Mississippi State University Libraries

Students and faculty now expect an academic research library to provide them with the technology they need to succeed. This technology includes high-end PCs for not only conducting research and writing papers, but also creating video, 2D, and 3D objects; recording audio; composing music; experimenting with virtual reality; and more.

Our vision to transform Mitchell Memorial Library includes an expanded and enhanced MaxxSouth Digital Media Center that provides the latest in maker and collaboration technology and instruction in an inviting and inspiring space.

We are currently raising funds to add new spaces, technologies, and services in support of Phase II of the MaxxSouth Digital Media Center transformation plan. The expanded Center will be the place for creating, teaching, and learning the latest digital tools and technologies.
