The "Owls"
The "Owls" - "Bennett," "Wink," "Jewel," and "Chi Chi"
"Owls" is the nickname for Patterson and three of her friends from LSU. They were all in Chi Omega Sorority, whose symbol is the owl. They lived together after college in New Orleans in the French Quarter. They nicknamed their apartment "The Owl's Nest." They have kept in touch over the years.
