Welcome to the MidSouth eResource Symposium at Mississippi State University Libraries!
Scheduled for Thursday, August 11th, at Mitchell Memorial Library, this daylong event will feature informative presentations by leaders in the field of eResources and libraries.
The MidSouth eResource Symposium is a regional library event hosted by Mississippi State University Libraries in Starkville, Mississippi, for the purpose of fostering networking, communication and education among all members of the serials information chain. Come join us for this gathering of librarians, library staff, and library science students within the mid-south region of the United States, featuring a focused symposium on the use and management of electronic resources in libraries. This event provides a unique and affordable opportunity to enhance knowledge of issues surrounding the acquisition, operation, collection and management of eResources in libraries today.
Because eResources and emerging technologies often go hand-in-hand, the MidSouth eResource Symposium has formed an alliance with the Mississippi State University Emerging Technologies Conference, which focuses on the effects of emerging technologies in a post-2.0 world. Attendees will have the choice of attending one, or both, of these fantastic events.
