Cataloging Department
| The Cataloging Department is responsible for adding new titles to the library's online catalog. The department also maintains the quality of the online catalog by barcoding and linking items, performing authority control and bibliographic record cleanup. The department is made up of three units: The Monographs Cataloging Unit consists of 2 professional catalogers and 3.5 technical assistants. The Serials Cataloging Unit consists of 1 professional cataloger and 2 technical assistants. The Database Maintenance Unit consists of 1 professional librarian and .5 technical assistant. | |||||||||
