MSU Association of Retired Faculty Activities

Three regular meetings are held each year. In December, a Christmas banquet is held. Student awards are presented (see: Student Awards Presented by ARF). These awards, given to the most outstanding students in each ARF award area, serve to honor the memory of ARF members who have made particularly significant contributions to MSU and to ARF. Special guests are invited and entertainment is provided.

Entertainment usually includes very talented singers and musicians. A business meeting with a speaker is held in April. Speakers are usually senior MSU officials or others of impeccable credentials. Since ARF was formed in 1986, all MSU Presidents have spoken at ARF meetings, as well as many Vice Presidents, Deans and many others of great talent and character. In July, the annual meeting is held. This meeting includes a program of interest as well as election of officers and election of new executive board members.
