Ginger Williams earned a B.A. in History from Furman University in 1985. She earned three degrees from the University of South Carolina: the M.L.S. in 1988, J.D. in 1989, and S.L.I.S. in 2004. Ginger joined the MSU Library faculty in 2004 as Assistant Collection Development Officer and was named Coordinator of Acquisitions in 2007. Prior to coming to MSU, Ginger served as a school librarian for eleven years and as the Director of Instruction and Federal Programs for three years in Barnwell School District 29, South Carolina.
Ms. Williams left MSU in July 2008 for the position of Assistant Professor and Acquisitions Librarian at Wichita State University.
